About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Workshop Cleaner & Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our Oxley workshop on a part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop while assisting with general workshop maintenance, stock control and facility upkeep. You will play an important role in ensuring our workshop operates efficiently and remains a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop, offices and common areas.
- Assist with the daily upkeep of workshop facilities.
- Monitor and organise workshop tools, equipment and consumables.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Support the maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment.
- Purchase workshop consumables and tools within the approved budget, in consultation with management.
- Help ensure the workshop complies with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Provide general workshop support as required.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Experience in a workshop, warehouse, maintenance or cleaning role.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of workshop tools and equipment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
