About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our well-equipped workshop in Oxley, Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on a wide variety of engineering and fabrication projects. You will be part of a supportive team delivering quality solutions across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform high-quality MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
  • Weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and prepare materials.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Carry out repairs, modifications and custom fabrication projects.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of the workshop team.

This is a full-time position, working:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Friday: Early finish

About You

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Welder, Fabricator or Boilermaker.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Sound knowledge of fabrication processes, materials and welding equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • A positive attitude and strong team focus.
